About

Empowering Farmers. Restoring Soils. Strengthening Food Systems.

Our story

What GAERS Is Building

GAERS works at the intersection of farmer education, soil health, digital advisory, and practical field innovation. We combine low-cost digital tools such as Whatsapp, local language communication, demonstration farm, and strategic partnerships to solve real farming challenges.

Global Agricultural Extension and Rural Services (GAERS) is a dynamic social enterprise driving agricultural transformation in Nigeria, especially in the northern regions where small-scale farming is the backbone of food security and rural livelihoods.

GAERS was founded in response to a major challenge across many farming communities including: limited access to extension support, rising input costs, soil degradation, and weak links between innovation and farmers.

We believe transformation happens when farmers receive practical knowledge, trusted support, and solutions they can realistically adopt.

That is why GAERS combines farmer education and training with regenerative agriculture practices, digital advisory delivered through accessible tools, and practical learning through its demonstration farm and training site. We complement this with community-based outreach and strategic partnerships that help scale proven solutions to more farmers and communities.
